In recognition of the Synopsys Partner Program, CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, awarded Synopsys with a prestigious 5-star rating in its 2023 Partner Program Guide, a definitive list of the most notable partner programs from industry-leading technology vendors. The 5-star rating is achieved only by select vendors that deliver the best of the best, going above and beyond in their partner programs to help push growth and positive change.
“Receiving a 5-star rating in CRN's Partner Program Guide for the second consecutive year demonstrates the priority Synopsys has placed on success for our partners as well as our mutual customers,” said Tom Herrmann, vice president of global channels and alliances within the Synopsys Software Integrity Group. “The Partner Program is focused on making it easy for our partners to do joint business with Synopsys.”
Herrmann was named one of the 2023 Channel Chiefs by CRN in early February, an award recognizing the top IT channel vendor executives who continually demonstrate expertise, influence, and innovation in the channel. The 2023 CRN Channel Chief recognition and 5-star rating comes after a year of exponential growth for the Synopsys Partner Program, establishing it as a critical centerpiece of the company’s global growth strategy.
Synopsys launched our partner program in 2021, and we’ve onboarded over 250 partners across 50 countries in 2022 alone. When it comes to software security, Synopsys is at the head of the pack.
Being the best in the market is not the only reason partners want to join our program. Synopsys takes a “partner-first” attitude, with a program focused on ease of doing business (no tiers or complicated program requirements), predictability (channel neutrality), and profitability (high margins).
We’ve expanded relationships with partner organizations three-fold over the past two years, made improvements to the program, and created tighter alignment with field teams. These improvements have doubled partner-generated revenue year-over-year and driven an 80% win rate in customer deals involving a partner. As part of our latest partner initiative, we recently launched a Market Development Funds program to support our partners’ market development initiatives with funding to drive demand generation. We also launched an online curriculum to help partners learn how to sell in the AppSec space.
According to Rich Douros, vice president of sales at Defy Security, managing the risks associated with increasingly complex software portfolios has become imperative in today’s business landscape. “Ignoring this need can have very real effects on an organization’s bottom line,” he said. “Our partnership with Synopsys allows our customers and prospects access to the Synopsys Software Integrity Group’s portfolio of industry-leading application security solutions to help them secure their software supply chain, build security into the software that powers their organization, and create a holistic application security strategy.”
Thanks to all partners who helped us achieve the CRN awards.
If you are not a partner, we invite you to join this extended part of our company and provide your customers with the best AppSec solutions available in the market.
